Self Inflicted "Haircut"

As you can see, Gavin gave himself a lovely haircut. The biggest chunk taken right out of the front and center. NICE!

Sunday

Shenanigans at the Sun Bowl

Gavin started a ruckus at the Sun Bowl because he wanted to play himself some football. He just didn't understand why he couldn't play with the big boys.

Gavin got more disgruntled as the day went on. Started fighting with Brandon and anyone else who looked at him wrong. And just look where they ended up...

Guess we are REALLY staying in El Paso

We've been here for six months, our house in Hewitt doesn't belong to us anymore and until today, I was still in denial that we aren't going back. Not that I don't like El Paso, it's just been a major change. But today we went to look at our new house and there are walls! We've been waiting and waiting and just like that...walls. Well, I guess we're here to stay. I have to get use to the crazy traffic, busy people, busy schools, busy restaurants and people that really like to dress up. I haven't been a dress up kinda girl since we left California. But from this moment forward, I will embrace El Paso and all of it's personality. It is our home; I will love it and thank God for it!

"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He's the One who will keep you on track". Proverbs 3:5-6

Happy Birthday Myles

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Myles. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Hey sweet handsome boy...Hope you have a wonderful 8th Birthday! Did you give your parents a list of all the toys you want? GOOD:-)

Lots of love to you!

Oh yeah, we still have a house being built!

It's taken so long for them to start, I had almost forgotten!

Our builder names all of his new floorplans. Since he hasn't built another house like ours, my sweet husband asked him if he could name the floorplan after me..."The Adrianne". Before I knew it was named, Mark drove me out there in the dark. I didn't know what was the use of going at night, but then we got out and he shined a flashlight on the sign. I saw my name up on the board and it just melted me. I sure do love my man!

Just thought we would show some photos of the progress now and then.

At least they have the concrete finished.

Our New Mexico Weekend

I fell in love with Cloud Croft, NM in about 2 minutes. As soon as I saw the snow, I was hooked. What a beautiful little town. Definitely renting a cabin there next winter.

Brandon couldn't believe we got to see THE Batmobile; it was the highlight of his trip!

White Sands is exactly what the name says...white sand. Very soft and glistening. Amazing to see!

Oh Roswell...what can you say? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

Carlsbad Caverns were absolutely incredible!

Such a fun trip. They're probably dreaming about aliens:-)

Returning to our beautiful Texas sunsets...
