WE MISS YOU SWEET L'S!!!

2005

A fun time we had!

Gavin's 1st Halloween

What are we gonna do without our adopted sweeties, Kia and Juju, on Halloween?

We always have a fun time on Halloween. We love dressing up and of course, getting lots of candy. Our neighbors always made things especially fun. Right in the safety of our cul-de-sac neighborhood, we had a huge party with blow-ups, games, food and prize give-aways. Who could ask for a better Halloween than that?!?!? We are certainly going to miss it this year!

7343 Gulf Creek Dr - Floor Plan of our Future Home

Well this is what we've finally come up with. I'm praying our builder is the fastest in history:) Gavin has his Handy Manny Tools and they are ready for action! The boys can't wait to have their own rooms, but they will have to share a bathroom; it might be the beginning of WWIII.

Miss You, Love You - Take 2

Futura Casa De Vasquez (Currently Dirt)

I thought I might start adding the stages of the house we are having built. Seems like it's taking FOREVER, even to get started. We are suppose to finalize the floorplan on Friday. After that, they should start building in about 3 weeks. Hopefully we'll have a home by Valentine's Day:)

This is our future cul-de-sac. It's pretty lonely compared to our neighborhood in Hewitt, but at least it has a good view of the mountains. It reminds me of one of my favorite scripture verses...I lift my eyes unto the hills...

I think there are going to be seven houses in the circle. One of them is almost complete, one is about half-way finished and the rest haven't been started. I met one of the neighbors the other day. She seems nice; going to have her first child in a few months. I heard one of the buyers is a young single guy, building the biggest house in the circle. Hmmm, what's that about? Guess if you don't have any mouths to feed, you can put it all in the house:) He better not be a wild partying type or he's going to have at least one grouchy old neighbor:) We are praying for neighbors as awesome as the ones we had in Hewitt. It's a long shot, but with God anything is possible;-)

Fun at the Pumpkin Patch and Mais Maze

We had such a fun time at the pumpkin patch last weekend. There were so many neat things to do and we tried to do everything.

Brandon wanted to buy his pumpkin at the store instead of walking through the dirt in the pumpkin patch. Gavin was marching right through the bugs to get his great pumpkin:-)

Top of the Space Needle

This post is not in chronological order, but I'm not blogger literate, so I wanted to throw it on here anyway. Mark and I went to Seattle and my hometown of Longview, WA in August. I love that area; it makes me feel so alive. Talk about some nice Christmas trees:) I also enjoyed seeing friends that I hadn't seen seen for many years. Wonderful thing about true friends...you can just pick up where you left off. We had so much fun; Seattle is a happenin' place! Starbucks on every corner. My kinda town:)

My Mom was crazy enough to watch the kids for us. We missed them...really.
